Introduction

The future is a dream. A dream that grown-ups invest in, plan for and fulfill with the right kind of financial decisions, kids, on the other hand, love to look at their dreams manifest in front of their eyes. They project another world on the existing world that we live in. Devoid of ulterior motives, a quirky planet of imaginary joyful beings that are at peace with themselves.

When a customer at Kanakia walks in to view the sample flats and close a deal, the technicalities and scouting can get a bit exhausting as well as lackluster for the ones not actively involved in the decision making process.

But what about the apple of our eyes, the little devils, our future, Kids!

What is the takeaway for the little ones? What about their universe? Xenium and Kanakia decided to incorporate a slice of their world into ours.

Kanakia commissioned Xenium Digital to undertake ‘the Aquarium’ for their upcoming project, ‘Codename Future’.

An inspired undertaking by Xenium Digital that had interaction and immersiveness at its core. Time was a constraint and the installation had to be portable, as it was intended to be shifted to a separate location in the long run.

The Journey

Since the brief isn't product-specific the business problem is always identified after a thorough brainstorming session with Accenture. Since the client undertakes extensive market research it helps us shape our innovations and articulate our thoughts a lot better. This process has helped incept a few path-breaking experiential solutions namely.

The user would be given an outline to sketch, once the user has personalised the outline of the sea creature as per their liking, they would have to scan it and within seconds would witness the sea creature come to life. The users could then interact with their creation, touch it and other elements on the projection to stay immersed, be mesmerized.

With meticulous attention to detail, the team transferred the entire setup with decimal level accuracy from workshop to site in 4 days. With all the pointers on the checklist tick-marked, it is safe to safe that Xenium delivered as promised.

Concluding note

‘The challenge is never the technology!, since that is just the medium, it is the synergy of the content coupled with the technology along with the medium that makes for an impressive showcase of a brand’s effort to connect with its customers. It is never the oven that determines a good bake, only a skilled chef or chefs, good quality ingredients and time can give you the best results.
